About Mr. Simon
Hello!
I grew up in West LA and have always loved 1) figuring out how things work, and 2) working with kids. So, after being a camp counselor for years and after studying robotic vision in college, I decided to become a teacher. Since 1994, I've taught math, oceanography, physics, and earth & space science at both the high school and middle school levels - I was even a school social worker for a few years! I was on the design team for Sage Creek and am one of the founding faculty. Besides spending time with my family and doing projects around our house, I enjoy music, mountain biking, skiing, and nature. I'm glad to be here with you all!
